We were so lucky to have Tocco's dad and sister visit us from Germany for a week over New Year's. It was great to catch up again and to show them around our little piece of California. It was especially nice for Tocco's dad to see for the first time where we live and what our life is like so far away. Here are some photos from our trip to Muir Woods, Muir Beach, Mavericks, Half Moon Bay and Pigeon Point Lighthouse (with whales!) with Tocco's family.

Progress!

Yaaahhhh! I love it, love it, love it. Once all of this takes root, and spring officially rolls around, we can move on to succulents, flowering trees, veggies, and all the rest. Yippee! Shout out to Tocco who waters each blade for 15 minutes x 2 each day like clockwork with a complex 4 hose approach and stares at it the rest of the minutes he's home. It's working baby! I can't wait for garden parties, summer bbqs, and a baby running around out there ;)
