I am incredibly lucky to work with some really amazing people. And super lucky to have been invited on a offsite with our Marketing team. It was so. much. fun. I'm not technically on the team, but have done a bunch of work with some of the members and am always happy to join their tribe anywhere anyhow, so I was psyched they included me. We spent all morning at 1AM, a space in SF designed to create a community for street artists, a gallery to showcase their work (and spray paint for sale) as well as a forum for promoting and educating the public about street art - por ejemplo: Did you know the first tagger ever recorded was called Corn Bread? Yes, Corn Bread.
A few photos of the space...
We went on neighborhood graffiti tour...
More pics....
Practiced writing our names as tags and then added them to the Data Nerd board...
Practiced with all the colors and nozzles for different spray paint effects, and then filled in the murals our hosts started (and finished) for us...
They turned out so cool. Can't wait until they're delivered to the office...
Then we went to Mission Bowling Club, where we had all the lanes, all the booze, all the food, and all the silliness you can imagine...
Not bad for a Tuesday. Thanks everyone! xo
Wow, that all looks incredible! What a fun company!
